For the second year in a row, we had the pleasure of developing the visual identity for Afinidades, a partnership between the Museu Nacional Soares dos Reis and the Quarteirão Criativo Bombarda.

The programme aims to activate the community at the heart of creative economy businesses and to bring those who shape it closer to the Museum, strengthening this space for artistic exchange already established in the Cedofeita area.

The 2025 edition focused on contemporary ceramics and featured the participation of 40 artists. Building on this theme, the identity was developed around the idea of shelves, a recurring element in both the production process and exhibition contexts of ceramics. The layouts are organized into different levels, as if they were shelving units, where pieces are arranged to structure information and help build the programme’s narrative. This approach accommodates different types of content and applications while reinforcing a direct connection to the material universe of ceramics.

In addition to the visual identity, we were also responsible for the design of the exhibition catalogue, a 28-page publication that brings together the artworks, the artists, curatorial texts and records of the activities that marked this edition, serving as a document of memory and continuity for the project.
