A visual identity that grows horizontally, like a mangrove. Creating living connections that transform space.
Mangue is an architecture and urbanism studio that helps companies develop solutions that are more human-centered and beneficial to both people and communities. Its practice is rooted in listening, memory, and territory, connecting culture, urban space, and collective desire.
The visual identity we created translates this vision. Horizontal lines intersect like mangrove roots, filled with texture and organicity, symbolizing the paths people trace and how they make the city alive. The palette combines earthy tones, directly inspired by the mangrove, with brighter colors that reinforce vitality and diversity.
The result is a visual language that balances strength and poetry, contemporary brutalism and Alagoas’ tropical urbanism. An open and expansive identity, capable of growing like a rhizome, forming new nodes and generating connections — reflecting the studio’s purpose of reimagining and transforming cities through collectivity and ancestry.
