Vista Ibirapuera is a gastronomic complex that brings together a bar, restaurant, café, and event space in São Paulo. Located on the ground floor and rooftop of the Museum of Contemporary Art of the University of São Paulo (MAC USP), the project draws strength from its direct connection with Ibirapuera Park and the surrounding landscape.

The grid is based on the columns of the building designed by renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer, translating the rationality of modernist architecture in contrast with the fluid forms of the park visible from the rooftop. From above, one can simultaneously take in the city skyline and the vast greenery of Ibirapuera, a meeting point that inspired the balance between geometry and organic shapes.

The logo reinforces this idea with a visual palindrome effect, allowing it to be read in 360°, echoing the panoramic view the space offers over São Paulo. This concept also reflects the duality of perspective: outward, the urban horizon and the park; inward, the architectural richness of one of the city’s most emblematic buildings, which also houses one of São Paulo’s leading museums.

The project was recognized at the Brasil Design Award 2018, was a finalist at the Latin America Design Awards 2018, and was selected for the 13th ADG Graphic Design Biennial.
